DeMilo Young

DeMilo Young is a dynamic leader and community advocate with over two decades of experience in program development, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. As the Founder and Executive Director of the BIPOC Support Foundation, she has been instrumental in establishing impactful programs that empower historically underserved communities through education, mentorship, and social-emotional learning. Under her leadership, the foundation has served thousands of individuals annually, raising over $930,000 to support its mission since its inception during the pandemic.

DeMilo’s expertise spans strategic planning, fundraising, and building partnerships that drive organizational growth and sustainability. She has a proven track record of developing transformative programs like SOAR, Explore Next Door, and The Elements of Mindfulness, which focus on literacy, environmental stewardship, and emotional well-being.

Her dedication to equity extends beyond her professional role. DeMilo has served as a board member for New Village Arts and a founding member of San Diego Gives, contributing to local philanthropic initiatives. She is also a seasoned adjudicator for youth theater and an advocate for the performing arts.

With a passion for empowering communities, DeMilo combines strategic vision and hands-on leadership to create lasting, meaningful change.
